I'm a recent college graduate and am beginning to apply for jobs (assistant jobs mostly) but my one problem is I can not for the life of me find a suit that fits! Most of my problem is in suit bottoms. I have a little bit of a belly, so I'm an 18 at the waist, but my rear/legs etc seem to fit a 16 better. Because of this, any size 18 pants that fit comfortably have a baggy rear that looks horrible.
I've never had a suit tailored before and I've Googled and found contradicting options about what to do. Do I buy a size 16 that fits in the rear and have it taken out or can I take in a size 18? I'm beginning to lose hope I'll find something that fits, whether it's my fault for not just buying something and having it tailored because I don't know which size to buy or whatever!
